John E. Ranes II, USA
Certified Picture Framer.Guild Commended Framer.

John is a well known instructor of workshops and seminars throughout North America.  He has also taught framing programs in Europe, South America and Australia/New Zealand.  He teaches at the National Conference - WCAF as well as conducting programs for industry suppliers.  John has served as a PPFA Chapter officer on two Midwest chapters as well as a director on the National PPFA Board.
John has been a consultant to Tru-Vue and The Fletcher-Terry Company of Farmington, Connecticut for over twenty years.  He and his wife, Sarah own a successful frame shop and gallery in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Mal Reynolds, USA

Не has been framing for around 12 years following his retirement from the British military. He is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild and hold his framer qualification at the Guild Commended level and at two of the three Advanced Accreditations level. These advanced qualifications are in conservation framing and textiles. He has been a member of the Guild's Framers Committee for approximately 4 years and he is just about to take over as its Chairman. He is also a member of the Guild's Court.

 Brian Wolf, England

For Brian Wolf, picture framing began as a part time job while attending Iowa State University. During that time he won the Janice Petersen Andersen award for outstanding design student in 1973. He started hand carving mats early and began demonstrating his skills at conventions in 1978. In 1979 he began teaching decorative matting classes for the Professional Picture Framers Association.
He started his own frame shop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1983. Since 1989, Brian has focused on giving seminars and leading workshops on his mat cutting techniques in Europe, Australia, and across North America.

Lyn Hall

Lyn has been framing for 30 years and during that time has accrued a huge wealth of knowledge. She has travelled worldwide teaching and demonstrating and is one of only two people in the world to hold all of the Fine Art Trade Guild Commended Advanced qualifications.

She served as Chairman to the Fine Art Trade Guild Framers Committee for several years and is still an examiner for the GCF programme.

Martin Harrold

Martin Harrold graduated from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in 1971. He spent three years in the retail petroleum industry followed by three more in vehicle parts marketing.

He started Lion as a high-street picture framing business in 1978. Over time, he gradually developed a framing supplies department, building a customer base through the medium of an illustrated catalogue and attending trade shows.

Petra Letson, Germany

As an experienced Picture Framer Petra has held educational picture framing classes all over Europe since 1995. Owning a successful frame shop herself for over 15 years, she has shared her experience and knowledge with many picture framers through the years. Her shop was known for exclusive Frame designs and many customers would travel a long way to get their work done there. In 1996 she was the first Picture Framer in Europe to work with a Wizard CMC.

Javier Bravo, Spain

Javier Bravo has been working at "Adhisa" 38 of 53 years of his life. Adhisa is the leading molding manufacture in Spain. The moulding сollection of Adhisa is broad-ranging and diversified, the company can produce ANY mouldings: from thin laquered mat and shiny to wide classic watergilded richly decorated profiles.

Javier started his carier in the production and then was moved to sales. More than 30 years he has been working as a sales manager of Adhisa in Spain. Now he is also responsible for printed advertising of the company and also for decoration of Adhisa's stands at specialized exhibitions.

Davide Sartori

Davide Sartori was born in Guastalla (RE) on 26 March 1968. After taking a diploma as a surveyor, he started working as a project consultant for a construction company. In 1997 he founded Sartori Davide Furniture, which produces furnishing accessories. In 2004 Sartori Industrial Design was born, as a project for research and development in the field of design.

In 2005 and 2012 he took out two industrial patents: the first was for the production and processing of special veneers, and the second was for the production of tiles of historical reference using modern technology.
